Institute of Physics - London (IoP- London)

These meetings are for London Branch Members of the Institute of Physics, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

These meetings are typically on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm. Refresments are available before the meeting from 6 pm. The meetings are held at the institute of Physics Headquarters: 76 Portland Place, London W1B 1NT. University College London, Science Centre (UCL-SC)

These meetings are jointly promoted by the UCL Science Centre and the Institute of Physics. These lectures are geared for teachers and older students, but all others who are interested can attend

Location & Time

These meetings are usually held on Friday Evenings at 6.30pm. Refreshments are available from 5pm. These lectures are based at the Physics Department, University College London. The lectures are held in the Massey Lecture Theatre which just off Gordon Street on the east end of Gower Place, and is situated near the UCL students union building and Bloomsbury theatre. Gresham College (Gresham)

These meetings are open to anyone to attend advanced booking is not usually required unless stated. The college has a tradition of over 400 years of giving free public lectures in the City of London.

Royal Institution, Centre for the History of Science & Technology (Ri-CHST)

The History of Science and Technology series of lectures at the Royal Institution run from time to time and they are open to everyone and free of charge.

Royal Society (RS)

The Royal Society runs lectures and events which are open to scientists and non-scientists who wish to attend.

Tickets are not usually required, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
